ESI'S WASH RACK & WATER RECYCLING SYSTEMS

Improve water stability and water conservation with one system

Built to military specification with the US Army Corps of Engineers and the US Marine Corps, US Army Reserves, and US Navy. ESI's wash rack systems are still running two decades later, with 9.6 million gallons of wash water recycled and 75% less maintenance required than standard commercial systems.

THE ESI ADVANTAGE

ESI's Wash Rack Systems are built to the operational and environmental demands of military installations from the first iterations, not a commercial system adapted after the fact.

  • Co-designed with the US Army Corps of Engineers and the US Marine Corps, US Army Reserves, and US Navy. ESI's systems meet the military installation performance standard because the people who wrote it designed them. No competitor in this space built their product this way.

  • Every ESI system recycles all captured wash water. No compliance exposure transfers to the installation. For facilities managing NPDES permits and active EPA oversight, this is the only defensible standard and the one ESI has held across every contract.

  • Heavy solids removal handles the dirt and mud while the heated high pressure washers remove oil and grease with no detergents required. These loads choke and destroy standard commercial systems within weeks. ESI designed these systems from the start to handle the contaminants that come off of the most challenging vehicles to keep clean: military vehicles. If these systems can work for them, they will work for your needs.

  • ESI monitors every system daily. When a problem develops, ESI knows before the installation experiences it. Service calls fix a confirmed issue, not discover one. Remote monitoring is a standard feature of every ESI system, not an upgrade tier.

  • The U.S. Government has recommended ESI in over 99% of formal contractor performance evaluations over the past 14 years.

  • ESI-built systems from 2005 remain in active operation today. Competitor systems at the same installations failed within 12 months. That record exists because ESI designs for longevity, not for the lowest number that clears procurement.

  • Every ESI wash rack system is designed, manufactured, and assembled in-house in Northwest Wyoming using US-made material. ESI controls every component of quality, including servicing every system globally with our in-house service and maintenance team. We maintain the largest footprint for being able to service our own products anywhere in the world. We will never sub out service, giving our customers the most experienced and talented service technicians in the industry.

  • Every person ESI sends to your installation has a direct ownership stake in the outcome. That is not a culture statement. It is a legal ownership structure that changes how people show up. When ESI wins, everyone who executed the contract wins with it.

  • We capture the water, clean it, reclaim it, and reuse it with minimal makeup water required. This guarantees you are saving as much water as possible while being able to fully wash all equipment and fleets. No system can reclaim 100% of wash water because of drive off, evaporation, and over spray. But we get as close as possible with our deep experience in designing systems that are specifically designed for each custom application.

Military Installations

Vehicle and fleet wash operations at military scale demand a closed-loop wash rack system that holds up under load, maintains zero discharge, and never forces a COR to explain a compliance failure to their command. ESI has operated in this environment since 1998 and builds every system with that institutional knowledge behind it.

Municipal Fleets & Public Works

Municipal fleet operations face tightening EPA wash water treatment requirements with shrinking maintenance budgets. ESI's wash racks deliver closed-loop compliance without creating administrative burden for the people managing them. Practical, maintainable, and built to outlast the contract.

Transit & Transportation

High-uptime transit environments run large equipment wash rack systems that must stay online. ESI builds systems that maintain vehicle wash compliance without the operational disruptions that budget commercial systems routinely produce. Every installation comes with documentation that survives regulatory review.

Aviation & Air Operations Facilities

Salt water exposure from coastal operations accelerates corrosion on high-value aircraft faster than any other environmental factor. ESI engineers aircraft wash racks for these environments, capturing and recycling wash water while meeting the stringent discharge requirements of air operations facilities across Coast Guard, Navy, Air Force, and commercial aviation.

Industrial & Regulated Commercial

Industrial facilities running heavy equipment wash rack systems carry the same compliance exposure as government installations, often with less regulatory support. ESI's closed-loop systems bring military-grade wash water treatment discipline to regulated commercial environments where the permit holder's name is on the line.

Fire Departments

Every deployment puts contaminants on the apparatus. Every wash without proper containment puts them in the environment. ESI's systems stop both problems simultaneously: capturing invasive species and biological waste while recycling wash water so fire departments protect their service areas without wasting it.

Rain Harvest Systems

ESI is the only contractor in the military market treating harvested rainwater to potable drinking water standards. For installations managing wash water recycling and water independence simultaneously, rain harvest completes the water management picture where the wash rack leaves off.

Oil Water Separator Systems

The OWS system downstream of every wash rack operates under the same compliance standards as the wash rack itself. ESI builds proactive OWS maintenance programs that document inspection history, flag compliance gaps before they become enforcement actions, and integrate directly with wash rack operations so the full system performs as one.
