is with ESI
We're built for those who serve.
At ESI, the people doing the work own the company. We are a 100% employee owned government contractor, and for more than three decades we have maintained the installations, water systems, and facilities that cannot fail. If you want a career where the quality of your work builds your own equity, you belong here.
how we operate
Our Commitment to You
These are not policies written by a committee. They are how ESI has operated since the first contract and how we will operate on yours. Hover to read.

Quality is personal, not policy. Every ESI team member is a part-owner of this company, which means quality, accountability, and follow-through are personal commitments, not policies. When something goes wrong, we own it, fix it, and follow up in writing.
Extreme Accountability

We built ESI on a single contract and delivered something the industry hadn't seen before: an innovative approach to facility services, designed around mission success. We support a mission larger than the maintenance itself, responding at any hour, on any day.
Mission Ready

Our leadership worked their way up through ESI's ranks, bringing firsthand knowledge of the work to every job. They provide hands-on guidance, clear direction, and genuine support to their teams reflecting the same leadership model many of our people lived in uniform.
Servant Leadership

ESI does not accept that something cannot be done. We attack the problems other contractors walk away from and find the creative path forward every single time.
Relentless Problem Solving

We share our average CPARS performance ratings openly, flag problems before clients experience them, and have the best solution at the ready. Decision makers need defensible choices backed by evidence, and we provide exactly that.
Proof, Not Promises

We learn what a client is trying to accomplish and prioritize their goals over any transaction. ESI wins the next contract before the current one closes because clients trust and know that ESI will continue to deliver the same quality results and the partnership will remain unmatched.
Relationships Before Revenue

Why pursue a career with ESI
ESI hires field technicians, project managers, engineers, and operations professionals. The people who thrive here value stability and long client relationships over short term contract hopping. They show up with a willingness to learn, think through a problem instead of walking away from it, and take pride in the work itself.
ESI is 100% employee owned since 2018, so every vested employee on the job not only holds a direct stake in the outcome, but also receives stock.
ESI maintains military installations, federal facilities, and mission critical systems where failure is not an option. Additionally, 95% of ESI management was promoted from within so your attention to detail, skill, and dedication to the mission does not go unnoticed. We are constantly looking for those people who give their all so they can be promoted as positions open up.
ESI builds careers, not contract stints, and moves its people from one contract to the next rather than letting them go. We have a retention rate of ___% and a dedicated HR team who ____. We are proud to be able to say we have never laid someone off without offering them a comparable position within our company. During downturns we protect our people.
tbd --- from the battle field to the job site to college degrees - our people are motivated, do not believe failure is an option, and have a level of dedication to the people and outcomes in a way that is unmatched.
